Lilies of the valley have always held a special place in my heart.
Growing up in the cold northern climate, these delicate blooms were one
of the first signs that spring had truly arrived. Somewhere around May,
when the air turned warmer, the woods would explode with these tiny
white bells - bright drops of spring that meant winter was finally
behind us.
Here and there, the flower beds burst with vibrant colors...
...but somehow, the soft, subtle hues stood out the most. The
simple elegance of irises and lilies of the valley… sometimes less is
more.
We
circled around
the garden and decided we’d definitely be back again soon... To see what else this beautiful place has in show. Stay tuned :)
