The first frost...

Do you know that feeling when you wake up in the morning and look out the window to find everything covered in tiny white crystals? All the flowers and leaves look different and simply beautiful. Well... it's also the perfect time to go out and take your camera with you ;)

And if it happens in November... you still have a chance to see some flowers in bloom!

Or some crabapples brightening up the leafless trees ;)

Or birch leaves - vibrant, fearlessly battling the wind and cold on their thin branches...

But the frost covering the leaves is the best! The tiny ice crystals make everything so magical...

Some flowers have dried up, while others are still blooming...

But this oak tree really captivated me. The leaves were so vibrant and seemed unreal. Neither green nor red... but some crazy combination of both!

And frost... frost... frost...

The ginkgo tree had shed all its leaves, and they covered the entire surface beneath the tree. Interestingly, they were the same bright yellow hue as the birch leaves ;)

Well... it was a peaceful morning to wander around the Botanical Garden and look for something small but beautiful. Something that would catch your eye and keep you glued to one place for a long time...
