May, Saturday, quiet time with flowers...

I am not sure if I know a better way to relax and forget about a week of work... Strolling along the trails and admiring colorful flowers... what can be better? Beautiful poppied and intricate irises are everywhere today...

 

I have no idea what these flowers are... but I love the look of them - the burnt orange color makes them attractive but not too bright...

There is a small patch of ferns in the Denver Botanic Garden, and it's hard to pass by without stopping and looking at the fresh and tender shoots...

California poppies are in full bloom now... and they are such spring-ish and sunny flowers...

White and orange... red and purple... yellow and pink... all colors and shapes... watching them is the best remedy to relax for sure...
