Christian Dior - Black and White (part 1)

Do you think it is possible to find anyone who has never heard of Christian Dior? I don't think so. And when you hear this name, the image of a woman in a beautiful dress immediately appears in your mind, right? But... how beautiful is the dress? We've all heard about his works, but honestly, how many of you have Dior dresses in your wardrobe and are familiar with them?

So it was just impossible to miss visiting the Dior exhibition in the Denver Art Museum a few years ago. And as soon as we entered the room, we immediately felt that a spell had been cast on us. Looking at each dress, we understood that it was just a dress, and somebody had worn it once (or, maybe, even twice...), but it was not easy to picture someone we knew in this dress. Each dress created by Christian is a real masterpiece, a real work of art. Artist's work. Right, some paint, some write music, some create dresses...

No photo can bring the impression it makes when you see it in the distance of your hand. But turn on your imagination and you can almost feel how beautiful these dresses are!

Not only dresses were on display there. There were also some sketches and embroidery samples. By the way, every dress was made by hand in the Dior shop (handmade! no massproduction!) and all embroidery was also done in the shop, and I can't imagine how much effort and hours they put into this work...

So, this is part one - black and white. Yep, today we are limited to only these two opposite colors (with some exception at the end :) ). So... just look at them... at these beautiful dresses...
