The bridge connecting the past and the present...

I don't think any of the people of the present time would like to return back to the past and live there. I mean jump back something like five hundred years... But... wouldn't it be nice to peek through the time and spend a day there. A day in the medieval town... even better... a day at a medieval fair... Wanna try? ;)

 

And, believe it or not, it is not that impossible. All you need to do is to visit the Renaissance Festival that happens every year in Colorado. You just pass the entry gates and find yourself surrounded with the past...

So we did about 10 years ago. Went there and just walked all day looking at the people wearing fancy clothes, listening to the medieval music performed by enthusiasts, drank some cider and had some badly grilled meat for our lunch... right they still didn't have a good grills back there ;)

When we were tired of walking we stopped and enjoyed some entertainment... Exotic belly dance for example...

Can you hold a sabre on your head? I can help you, the girl said... And he was able to hold it for almost 15 seconds ;)

Unlike him the girl danced with the sabre on her head! Can you???

What about two? One on your head and the second sitting still on your belly? She had no troubles doing that and was not only moving around, but moving really fast. Amazing!

We felt much better and walked a bit more... We wanted to see the main even of the day though, so we circled around until we found some pirates. Friendly and funny kind ;)
