Farewell, San Francisco, still the second day ;)

While we  continued to walk along Market St we were looking here and there to find interesting places to see. We were already tired, because that was the second day we were non-stop exploring Frisco and we walked a lot... I mean it, A LOT... Finally we came to Civic Center plaza and San Francisco City Hall. Nice place and we stopped for a few minutes to have some rest and look around.

Just a few steps out of the plaza we found a big Farmers Market. The stands fill the street and you can buy all varieties of local berries and fruits there.

We stopped for a couple of minutes to listen to the Bach sonata and bought some strawberries. Berries were fresh and smelled just perfect!

Our next stop was at the San Francisco library. Nice modern building, it was cool inside and we had some rest, washed and ate the strawberries before deciding to make our last run.

We left the library and walked a bit longer just to find more old and nice buildings... At this point we realized how tired we were.  We understood that we were unable to move further at all.

So we stayed for a few minutes looking at the trains (we were surprised the old (really old) trains were still in service) and dove underground to the metro to catch the train back to the airport.

Actually we were relieved that we could sit and not walk any longer ;)

Later we found ourselves sitting in the aircraft and watching how this big bird was leaving the surface and gliding up.

We waved to Frisco, said Goodbye to Oakland Bay Bridge and left this nice and cool city we already were in love with. Next time we definitely are going to find even more nice places to see there...

In a few hours we were crossing the Rockies and soon after landed in Denver. So long, San Francisco, see you soon again!
