Sunday in Boulder

Boulder is the best place to escape from the crowd and noise of Denver. Going there is always a pleasure, it doesn't matter if it's a cold and windy Fall day or hot and sunny Summer one. Boulder in May is a special treat...

Walking along carless Pearl Street is never boring. Looking up you can explore the decoration on these old buildings. Looking down you can find some other attraction or a store you cannot reject walking in ;)

There are a few Art Deco buildings downtown, like this Court House. Simple lines, cascading levels. Tall windows make nice accents.

Or this beautifully decorated Art Deco movie theater. Staying here you can feel moved 100 years back in time!

Amazing medieval revival First M.E. Church, erected in 1881 and designed, probably, by the same architect who worked on Denver University.

If you walk a few minutes into the residential area you can look at just old fashion houses. Aren't they nice? Some of them look like small huts, some remind me of fairy tales and others medieval castles...

Actually, warm and sunny day makes everything look different from cloudy and cold day. Don't believe me? Check here - same views, but different mood, huh?

The pictures were taken on May 15, 2015.
