Mmmushroommmms ;)

 Do you like wild mushrooms? I like them... And I love going to the woods and picking them up...

 

Someplace nearby Echo Lake you can find so many spots you can climb up and find something nice. Pines, for example ;) And if you are lucky, you can find some mushrooms too!

This was the first I found this day. No, I didn't pick this one. But I really like the look of this red-and-white beauty, don't you?

But this porcini is the one you have to grab once you see it. Nice and fresh. Meaty and tasty... Mmmmm... you cannot find a better mushroom, believe me!

Just remember, all mushrooms are masters of camouflage. You cannot easily spot them. You have to find them!

The mushrooms use everything to hide behind. The leaves and branches, the pine needles and rocks. Everything is good and they know that.

Aren't they beautiful? Huh?

And if you are lucky, you have a trunkload of them and they look even better all together.

Now you can clean them... Slice and chop them...

 

And you can make an amazing mushroom soup. It's just delicious, believe me!

Or you can sauté them and serve with potato and fresh veggies. That's a feast!
