Chihuly in Botanic garden

Botanic garden is a great place to spend some time looking at the flowers and plants. But what if we combine nature and man made stuff? I am thinking about glass...

Not any glass, actually, but very special glass. Dale Ghihuly's glass.

He learned how to melt and fuse glass when he was young and he was bored with his studies. So he dropped out of the university and studied art in Florence. He began experimenting with glassblowing in 1965 and... soon enough he became famous. You can find his work as part of decor of many fancy buildings and as a part of museum expositions. But... what can be better than to enjoy this art mixed with real plants and flowers? Probably enjoying it in the dark with lightning making everything looking so mysterious...
