First flower is blooming ;)

Yeah! The first flower is blooming! I was walking around and just found it all along the edge of the road. Small and nice looking...

Stork's bill is an interesting one. This plant is native to Macaronesia and temperate Eurasia. However, Redstem Stork's Bill has been naturalized in deserts within the United States. Redstem Stork's Bill is also referred to as Pinweed.

The plant is completely edible (I had no idea!) and young Redstem Stork's Bill has a taste similar to parsley. So it is not only beautiful and first to bloom... But also tasty and can be used in the salad. What a nice plant ;)
