Winter macro

It was a gloomy winter day... You know, one of the days when everything is gray and looks just the same and nothing really catches your attention. You can call this day boring... until you change your point of view.

The morning snow just powdered the grass but not even covered it.

Instead of looking big, let's look small. Details are always interesting so let's go for them.

Even snow looks different when you look really close. It is not as soft as it looks from far away.

But Prickly Pear still seems to be prickly and even dangerous. Nothing can change the nature of the cacti, huh?

  1. Michael, even when the cold outside is miserable, your photos make the day seem magical and welcoming... Thanks for reminding us that zero degrees can still be beautiful.
