I know, I know... it is February and not many blooming flowers can be found outside... But the Summer pictures could change it and bring the memories about nice and warm weather, about the flowers that were all around the lawns, streets and fields nearby. So let's turn on our time machine and jump back to July...
This is prickly lettuce. Amazing plant with such nice and subtle yellow flowers. I like it and always stopped to take a picture or two. Was never tired of doing it.
Bees and Prickly Poppy is always a great combination to watch. The bees are literally bathing in the flower, hugging the core piece and collecting some polen.
Prickly Poppies again. Just about to open the flowers and invite the bees...
Day Lily. Gorgeous flower. The red is not as common as yellow, but if you can find one - you cannot just pass by...
These laced leaves is Prickly Lettuce again. I guess I need to make a special post dedicated to this flower... It's definitely worth it ;)
Another Day Lily. What color is it? Burnt purple? This color is rare and, honestly, I like it even more than usual yellow or red.
Daisy. Yellow and white, this flower is so common in the wild but also quite popular in a garden. How often do we stop and look at them? Not very often, I guess. It is too simple... too common... But if you take a closer look, you'll be surprised how nice they are...
Grasshopper hugging the prickly leaf... What a relationship ;)
Pictures were taken on July 01, 2020.
