Tulip day

Yes! The tulips at the Denver Botanic Garden are in bloom and, as always, absolutely stunning!

This year, throughout the garden you can find spirit guides- fantastical creatures created by Mexican Artists Jacamo and Maria Ángeles, these brightly colored and richly patterned sculptures depict imaginary hybrid animals that act as both spirit guides and astrological embodiments of human character. Here is the first one who will meet you at the entrance. And there will be more of them when we walk along the trails to see the flowers...

Tulips are beautiful. Different colors and shapes, they are everywhere. The only sad thing about tulips is that they don't bloom for long. So... go and see them before it's too late ;)

The irises are there too. Not as many as tulips, but many of them have already opened up and are emitting their fragrance.

I love poppies too, but there were only a couple of them. We have to come back later when they replace tulips...

Traditionally, an alley of tulips is arranged in the middle of the garden. A place where you can find thousands of flowers creating colorful and vibrant tapestries...

Love this coyote-fish spirit guide ;)

Deer-rabbit. What imagination, huh?

Red tulips are the most common, but... it doesn't mean they are less interesting to look at. Don't you agree?

I can easily spend half a day there, just walking and looking at all of this beauty... exploring the different kinds and searching for a perfect one :)
